Ballet
Ballet is a highly stylized form of dance that originated in the Italian Renaissance courts during the 15th century and later developed into a highly formalised art form in France and Russia. It is characterised by graceful and precise movements, pointe work (dancing on the tips of the toes), and intricate choreography.

Contemporary Dance
Contemporary dance is a modern and evolving style that combines elements of ballet, modern dance, and various other movement techniques. It often emphasises freedom of expression, improvisation, and creative choreography.
Modern Dance
Modern dance emerged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries as a reaction against the formalism of classical ballet. Pioneers like Isadora Duncan, Martha Graham, and Merce Cunningham developed unique styles that emphasised self-expression, emotion, and experimentation with movement.

Jazz Dance
Jazz dance is a lively and energetic style that evolved in the United States, drawing influences from African, Caribbean, and European dance traditions. It often features syncopated rhythms, isolations, and elements of improvisation.
